What’s AppleScript? AppleScript is a simple Macintosh-only programming language that can control and automate actions on your Mac. AppleScripts written for iTunes can manage files and track information, create playlists, interact with other applications, and perform many other tasks which otherwise would be repetitive and time-consuming.
  • iTerm iTerm is a full featured terminal emulation program written for OS X using Cocoa. We are aiming at providing users with best command line experience under OS X. The letter i represents a native Apple look and feel of the program interface, and an emphasis on complete international support. iTerm was merged from two projects, CTerminal and TerminalX, both of which were based on JTerminal project. The current version is still in beta stage. It is however very much functional and usable.

  • iCal Exchange Private calendars are one big feature that .Mac is missing. These are calendars that can only be accessed with a password and optional username. Which password you ask? The interface will accept the owner’s username and password (for the case when he/she wants to view their own calendar), and it will accept passwords as defined by the calendar owner for other people to use. These are managed with the "passwords" link on the left hand navigation links.
